Communications & Energy Committee meets to discuss issues relevant to the communications and cable industries, as well as the "traditional" utilities (gas, electric & water).

2007 Meetings

On Friday, March 16, the Chamber hosted a luncheon meeting with Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula (D-17), who is chairman of the Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities Committee. The Assemblyman discussed the progress of the state’s Energy Master Plan, and the recent cable and telecommunication rule adoption process. The meeting took place at the Mansion on Main Street from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. This meeting was sponsored by Comcast and New Jersey American Water Company.
