Named the Best Chamber in New Jersey by NJBIZ, the Chamber of Commerce Southern
New
Jersey (CCSNJ) is a not-for-profit, business organization founded in 1873 whose
mission is to
provide members with:
- opportunities to meet other members and do business
- resources to enhance members' position in the marketplace
- a collective voice on public policy issues that impact business
CCSNJ is the largest Chamber in the region with 1,700 members and growing, and with more
than 150 events each year we are also the most active.
CCSNJ member companies employ close to 325,000 people throughout
the seven Southern New Jersey counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape
May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties) and the Greater Philadelphia
area, as well as Northern Delaware. CCSNJ is a microcosm of the South Jersey
economy. Our members generally fall into the following industries: advertising/PR;
banking & financial services; construction; education; employment/HR;
engineering; healthcare; insurance; legal services; manufacturing; nonprofit; office products;
printing; real estate; sales & marketing; technology; tourism/hospitality/entertainment; utilities/telecommunications.
As a member-driven organization, we strive to provide members
with the maximum return on their investment. CCSNJ hosts 150 events and meetings each year – an average of two to three
events per week – where members increase their companies’ visibility,
meet decision makers and form key relationships.
Members have access to many resources and benefits to enhance their position in the marketplace, including targeted marketing
opportunities, mailing lists and specialized publications. Through our Chamber
partnerships, members can access superior insurance services for their employees,
and discounted rates on varied business services provided by member companies.
As the South Jersey business community's voice in Trenton, CCSNJ
has significant clout and is highly regarded by the Legislature, the Governor and cabinet as a
"player" on issues impacting the business community. CCSNJ partners with elected officials to
develop realistic solutions to improve our region, protect the business community’s
interests, and save tax dollars.
