Highlights of Governor Christie's Address to CCSNJ Members

On April 27, Governor Chris Christie addressed 250 members of the CCSNJ at a luncheon meeting at the Crowne Plaza.  This was the third visit Governor Christie has made to our organization since taking office in 2010.

Among the many topics the Governor covered in his speech were the $15 minimum wage proposal, the mandatory pension payment Constitutional Amendment, and Atlantic City's fiscal insolvency - a topic Ms. DiLorenzo also weighed in on yesterday as a featured Guest Columnist in the Star Ledger.

He concluded his remarks by thanking Deb DiLorenzo and everyone at the CCSNJ for their hard work.  “I want to thank you for being a part of the South Jersey Chamber.  This organization is very important.  Don’t doubt for a second that your voice is being heard.  This organization represents you very well.  When Deb needs to deliver a message, she knows how to do it, both with me and my staff.”

The Governor also thanked Chamber members for being part of the community and for personally supporting him during his years in office.
