In the aftermath of the 2018 midterm elections, the Democratic Party won the majority in the House of Representatives and will have a preponderance of voting influence in selecting the next Speaker of the House. In the Senate, the Republican Party increased its majority, giving the United States a split Congress for the first time since 2014. Please join experts from Gibbons P.C. to discuss the implications of the new Congressional makeup, including the hot-button issues that may result in gridlock and those areas where Congress may find common ground in today’s political landscape.
